Brewster B-239 "Buffalo"

Though a failure as an American naval fighter, the Brewster
"Buffalo" was flown ferociously by the Finns in their epic war
against the Soviet Union. The version known as the B-239 is
shown here in the markings of Eino Luukkanen as he downs
a Russian Spitfire on October 30, 1942.
