Oil and Acrylic on Hardboard SIZE: 24"x30" One of the long-nosed Focke-Wulfs that protected the German jet airfields in the closing days of WWII. The red bottoms alerted their own Flak gunners not to shoot at them! This original painting was exhibited at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, Sep 14, 2002-Jan 05, 2003. Original exhibited for a year in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, as a 1991 EAA Art Competition winner. |
