Scratchbuilt the old fashioned way
with an almost solid wood fuselage,
and wings built up from ribs and spars
and covered with..... more wood!

One of the twelve majestic Boeing 314 seaplanes
operated by PanAmerican Airways in the late -30's
- early -40's. The Yankee Clipper, NC-18603, was
delivered to PAA in February 1939 and served
until crashing at Lisbon, Portugal in 1943.
